It is a condition of travel that each passenger in the bus, who is occupying a seating position that is fitted with a seatbelt, is to wear the seatbelt properly adjusted and fastened. Furthermore, if passengers are observed not wearing a seatbelt available on the bus, they may be issued with a penalty notice by NSW Police and have to pay a fine.
